If I’d have to name one writer who had a great influence on me as a human being, it would be Fredrik Backman. I discovered his books a few years ago through my mom — she’s my Goodreads when it comes to book recommendations — and I’m very thankful for that.
All of Backman’s books focus on the amazingly complicated, beautiful, funny, unexpected, and sometimes tragic experience that we call life while featuring quirky characters that try to do their best at living it. That’s exactly where the magic of these books lies.
These are the stories that will take…
It all started with a simple Facebook account — isn’t that the usual start of almost every digital age fairytale?
I wouldn’t have imagined 9 years ago when my brother and I created my mother’s Facebook account that she’ll love it so much and use it as her personal blog. But she did.
Now she says that Facebook helps her relax after a long day of work. It’s also the best way to share her passion for books, art, travelling and gardening with her little community. Zuckerberg knew what he was doing when he started all this, I must say.

Life is full of changes — that’s how we and everyone/everything around us grows. That’s what makes life so unpredictable and exciting at the same time.
Yet, who would have thought that in the first half of the year we’d all be working remote and staying inside all the time, going to work meetings, conferences and concerts online, and learning how to cook almost anything we’ve seen on Pinterest?

We live in panic-filled times now. As the novel coronavirus spreads more and more around the world, most of us are forced to stay at home to protect ourselves and the people around us.
If you’ve already been working remote for a while now, this self-isolation period won’t seem like too much of a deal to you. Other people might, however, be quite uncomfortable with this change of routine that has come overnight to turn their life upside down.
Nonetheless, I think that it’s our social responsibility to do the most we can to help slow down and eventually stop…
Who doesn’t love a good story?
I know I do. In fact, I love stories. This is the unsurprising answer of a book-loving introvert.
I heard so many stories — from my family, friends, co-workers, and complete strangers on YouTube — and I read even more in books, magazines, blogs, social media, you name it.
Some of these stories made me who I am today. They helped me know myself better and understand others much easier. They also shaped my world perspective and guided me through unique life situations.
But are stories really worth your attention when every day there’s…
Content Writer. Introvert. I read, listen to, gather, and write stories.
